America's Service Club
For over a hundred years, Exchange Club volunteer efforts have supported the needs of the country and of local communities, making it the country’s oldest American service organization operating exclusively in this country.
Fun and Recognition
June 17, 2022
Last Friday we held our annual golf outing as part of our Exchange Club “Family Fun Day” at Spring Lake Country Club. After our short lunch meeting and prior to tee-time, we held a putt-off open to all members after lunch. The winner of $100 was Mike Lavery with 2nd place and $50 going to Rick Goughnour.
The winning team golfers included Chris Parker, Brian Musholt, T Heberlein and John Johannes. They all won $50 gift certificates. The longest drive winner was Lucas Eyler. The longest putt winner was Paul Terwelp, and the closest to the pin winner was John Johannes. All three winners won a $25 gift certificate. The day included all day swimming for family members and concluded with dinner at SLCC where awards were given out. The John Tripp Distinguished Service Award went to Rick Gengenbacher and the Bill Hageman Exchangite of The Year Award went to President Erik Dolieslager.
The winner of the recruiting challenge drawing and free membership next year or $520 was Gary Farha. Unfortunately, no one that night remembered who won since there was an “open” bar all day. Just kidding…Congratulations to all the winners.
Thanks to Joel Koch for his hard work in organizing a wonderful day for all of us last Friday.
