Adopt-A-Grandparent

is a nationally recognized program, started in Quincy, which teams elementary school students with nursing home residents. Monthly visits and annual parties have created long-lasting friendships.

Book of Golden Deeds

Volunteer efforts are very important to our society and should not go unnoticed. The National Exchange Club’s longest running project dating back to 1919, the Book of Golden Deeds Award, recognizes dedicated volunteers who give endless hours of their time and talents toward making their communities better places to live. Since the Quincy Exchange Club sponsored their first award in 1950, more than 60 unsung heroes and heroines have been recognized.

Law Enforcement of the Year

honors the men and women of area law enforcement agencies who put their lives on the line to protect all of us. In conjunction with the award, the Club also recognizes the Citizen of the Year, featuring someone from the general public who has contributed to the public safety of the community.

Firefighter of the Year

honors the men and women of the Quincy and Tri-Township fire departments, who serve as fire fighters. The award recognizes those individuals who rise above the call of duty to perform exemplary achievements.

Celebrating our Emergency Medical Services Personnel and their dedication to the citizens of our community. It takes special people to respond to others in crisis and The Exchange Club of Quincy honors our responders for their service to our community.
