A Quincy Tradition
Our 1,000 U.S. Flag Field is displayed over Veterans Day Weekend each year, honoring those who have served our country at home and abroad.

WAVE A Flag
Quincy Service Club passes out nearly 8,000 American flags to the young and young at heart during Quincy’s Dogwood Parade and Flag Day Park Band Concert. The program is designed to cultivate a deeper sense of patriotism and to heighten young American’s appreciation and admiration for our country’s flag.

Proudly We Hail
No symbol better signifies our nation’s greatness than our American flag—the Stars and Stripes. The Proudly We Hail program encourages regular display of the flag by individuals, commercial establishments and industries. To honor them a specially designed plaque is presented at a club meeting.

Freedom Galleries
Freedom Shrines feature an impressive, permanently mounted collection of 30 of the most important and historic American documents, including the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Gettysburg Address. They show our nation’s youth the strength and courage of their forefathers by allowing them to read, with their own eyes, the immortal words of inspired Americans who so decisively changed the course of history. The centerpiece of the Freedom Gallery is a stunning 23-piece display presents the story of America’s founding in a visually stimulating manner. The Freedom Gallery was created to be a beautiful addition to any public or corporate building. Some schools refer to their gallery as the “learning wall” because of the many life lessons which are taught.

One Nation Under God
The One Nation Under God project was adopted on July 30, 1964, by Exchange leaders seeking to heighten awareness of our rich religious heritage. November, observed nationally as One Nation Under God Month, is a special time of year when Exchangites join together to increase public appreciation of the important roles religious faith and freedom have played in our nation’s history.
